The Bus Village
Unlike many small villages, this place has a regular bus, and food and clothing markets. Factories nearby make mosquito repellant, electronics components, and the iron rods that hold up mosquito nets. There are also vegetable stands run by locals and a battery shop. People from other villages come here to shop because of the bus.
The knitting hub has two big rooms and a long hallway and is close to the bus stop. Half of the women who work here catch a bus from other villages. Having the bus means that we can give work to women do not have the opportunity for employment where they live.
